New Beginnings works through the following social agencies to administer aid:

  • DeKalb Rape Crisis Center provides direct services, prevention education, and advocacy for youth and adult survivors of sexual assault, their families and the community as a whole.
  • Gateway 24/7 Homeless Services Center provides emergency food and shelter, residential recovery programs and transitional housing for the homeless.
  • Grady Rape Crisis Center provides comprehensive care and treatment for victims of sexual assault and their families.
  • Gwinnett Sexual Assault Center provides forensic-medical and psychological support services to children, teens and adults victimized by crimes of sexual assault.
  • Homeless Outreach Program of Gwinnett County helps women and children who are homeless stay at various motels, enabling the children to stay in the same school district and prevents having to move frequently to find shelter.
  • Mary Hall Freedom House provides treatment, support, and medical and housing services to improve the quality of life of women, and women with children, by empowering them to break the cycle of addiction, poverty and homelessness.
  • Nicholas House helps homeless families achieve self sufficiency by providing a temporary place for them to live together while identifying and addressing the root causes of their homelessness.
  • Norcross Cooperative Ministry is a faith-based, non-profit, ecumenical ministry dedicated to providing emergency assistance to families in Norcross and surrounding areas of Gwinnett County.
  • The Bridge Family Center improves the quality of life and social functioning of Georgia's troubled and abused adolescents by providing innovative, community-based and family-focused therapeutic services, specialized education and residential care.
  • The Center for Children and Young Adults operates long-term shelter programs for children and youth ages birth to 17 as well as a transitional living program for older adolescents ages 17 to 21.

"The kits are used so much, and we appreciate what New Beginnings donates to our Center. There are times we run short of supply and are excited when a new delivery is made." R. Page, Gateway 24/7 Homeless Services Center
